Marvel Fully Reveals New Venom GAMERVERSE Action Figure as Pre-Orders Set to Open
Bandai has fully revealed a new Marvel GAMERVERSE action figure of Venom, recreating the hulking symbiote with an extensive selection of interchangeable parts and massive tendril effects.
The “Venom (GAMERVERSE) S.H.Figuarts” recreates Venom with a heavily muscled game-inspired appearance dominated by deep blue coloring, an oversized white spider emblem and green saliva dripping from his tongue.
Venom originated as an alien symbiote before becoming permanently associated with Eddie Brock, with the pair developing from major Spider-Man antagonists into antiheroes with their own long-running stories across comics, movies, animation and games.
The new GAMERVERSE figure emphasizes Venom’s enormous physique, with broad shoulders, exaggerated musculature and a much heavier silhouette than the characters already released in Bandai’s video game-inspired S.H.Figuarts series.
Despite that larger build, the body incorporates extensive articulation including butterfly-style shoulder joints, flexible hips and additional movement through the torso to support crouching, lunging and other aggressive poses.
Three interchangeable tongues allow Venom’s expression to be changed, while an alternate lower jaw provides further options for recreating his exaggerated open-mouthed appearance.
Bandai has also included an alternate head and neck piece revealing Eddie Brock beneath the symbiote, allowing the figure to be displayed with Venom’s human host exposed.
Three pairs of interchangeable hands are included alongside a large assortment of symbiote tendril effects, which extend outward from Venom’s body to recreate the shapeshifting attacks associated with the character.
A separate display stand supports the larger tendril pieces, while a themed background sheet continues a feature used across the wider Marvel GAMERVERSE S.H.Figuarts series.
The completed figure stands approximately 18 cm tall, making Venom accurately larger than releases such as the approximately 15.5 cm “S.H.Figuarts Psylocke (GAMERVERSE)” figure revealed earlier this year.
Psylocke became the fourth character in Bandai’s Marvel GAMERVERSE lineup following Spider-Man, Cyclops and Wolverine, with Venom now expanding the series to five releases so far.
Pre-orders for the “Venom (GAMERVERSE) S.H.Figuarts”, priced at ¥13,200 (approximately $84 / £63), are set to open from October 1 through reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan ahead of its release in May 2027.
