MAPPA opens orders for brutal new Chainsaw Man vs. Samurai Sword statue
Pre-orders have officially opened for a new, high-end scale figure of Chainsaw Man, the titular character of the hit anime series.
The new collectible is a collaboration between the anime studio MAPPA and a new hobby figure maker, “A-DIMENSION,” with the figure itself being designed and sculpted by the legendary and world-renowned artist, Takayuki Takeya.
The announcement comes as the Chainsaw Man franchise’s popularity is at an all-time high, with the theatrical film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc recently surpassing 5.4 billion yen at the Japanese box office.
This new figure is a 1/6 scale, pre-painted statue that brings Chainsaw Man to life through Takeya’s signature, hyper-detailed sculpting style.
The dynamic pose captures the feeling of the flesh beneath the character’s shirt, his powerful arms, and the intricate detail of the chainsaws.
The diorama base is a gruesome and impressive scene depicting a dismantled Samurai Sword, complete with realistic blood spatter and metallic textures on the protruding rebar and traffic signs.
The completely made-to-order “MAPPA × A・DIMENSIONChainsaw Man -TAKAYUKI TAKEYA- Ver. 1/6 Scale Figure” stands approximately 37.5 centimeters (14.8 inches) tall and is priced at ¥73,700 (approx. $498 USD / £398 GBP).
Each base will be engraved with a unique serial number, further enhancing its status as a special-edition collectible.
Pre-orders are now open exclusively on the A-DIMENSION official online store and the MAPPA online shop, with the reservation period running until 11:59 PM on Friday, the 9th of January, 2026.
The figure is scheduled to be shipped to customers in December 2026.
