Kuromi opens the door to a magical universe for new gothic inspired merch line
A new line of original merchandise has been released to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the popular Sanrio character, Kuromi.
The “KUROMI’s Special Key Design Series” is themed around the concept of Kuromi obtaining a special key and the excitement of opening a new door to her future.
The product lineup features a wide range of plush toys, accessories, and other goods, many of which are decorated with a special key motif.
The full collection includes seventeen different types of items:

- Kuromi Mini Pouch: ¥1,793

- Kuromi Folding Mirror: ¥2,200

The “Secret Pins” are a special, historical collection, featuring a variety of different designs of Kuromi from throughout her 20-year history.
To celebrate the launch, a special gift-with-purchase campaign will also be held.
Customers who spend ¥3,300 or more will receive a free, “KUROMI’s Key Mascot” as a bonus gift.
In addition, a series of limited-time “Kuromi Anniversary Shops” will be opened at seven of the Sanrio direct-managed stores across the country.
Due to the high demand expected for this anniversary collection, strict purchase limits will be in place for the first week of the launch.
The new collection is scheduled to be released on Thursday, the 9th of October, at Sanrio stores and department store counters across Japan, as well as on the official Sanrio online shop.
