Beginning with the installments airing in April, the official theme song will transition to a new piano version of the track “Niji to” performed by Punipunidenki featuring Kan Sano.

The anime is an adaptation of the original manga created by Yuami, which first launched in June 2021 and is published in Japan by Kadokawa.

Since its debut, the manga series has expanded to include five compiled volumes currently available to readers.

The web anime is produced at studio MOTHER under the direction of Takao Kato, who is known for overseeing various animated projects.

Chiharu Hara is responsible for the character designs, while the musical score is composed by the duo of Atsushi Umebori and Slavek Kowalewski.

Voice actress Aya Uchida provides the voice for the titular character, Koala, and also performs the roles for the remainder of the cast members.

Fans can currently access and stream the series through its official distribution channel on YouTube.

The narrative of Koala’s Diary centers on a koala bear that documents its daily experiences in a personal journal, emphasizing the idea that every day is significant regardless of whether it is positive or negative.
