KFC’s new Monster Hunter Wilds collab to offer exclusive in-game items
A major new collaboration has been announced between Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Japan and the hit game, Monster Hunter Wilds.
Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest entry in the legendary action-RPG series, plunging hunters into a dynamic, transforming world where monsters flock and fight in a harsh environment.
The collaboration will feature special “MonHun Collab Packs,” limited-edition packaging, and exclusive in-game items featuring the series’ popular Palico characters.
The special packaging is a highlight, featuring adorable new art of a Palico dressed as Colonel Sanders and another Palico happily eating a piece of Original Chicken.
The collaboration is centered on four special packs, which bundle KFC’s Original Chicken, a biscuit, and small fries with different in-game items.
The “Gourmet Set – WHITE” includes a “Premium Food Set” for campfire cooking and a “Colonel Palico” in-game charm.
The “SPICE UP Set – RED” includes a “Hunting Helper Item Set” (with consumables and Armor Spheres) and a “Barrel Palico” in-game charm.
Both sets can be purchased with a limited edition sticker set at an additional cost.
A special lottery campaign will also be held for customers who purchase a collab pack via the KFC Net Order (with a logged-in account).
20 winners will receive a “Collab Hoodie” (featuring the “it’s finger lickin’ WILD!!” slogan), and 200 winners will receive a “Palico Pass Case.”
In addition, four select KFC locations in Japan (Takadanobaba and Akihabara in Tokyo; Nankai Namba Station and Abeno Q’s Mall in Osaka) will be decorated as special collaboration stores, featuring life-size character panels and in-game BGM.

Pre-orders for the packs will be available via the KFC Net Order service from November 13 to November 18.
The collaboration packs will be available at KFC locations across Japan from November 19 until December 16, 2025 (or while supplies last).
The in-game item codes can be redeemed for the PlayStation 5 and Steam versions of the game starting December 16, 2025.
