Japan’s biggest arcade game expo announces official dates for 2025
Tickets have officially gone on sale for “AMUSEMENT EXPO 2025,” one of Japan’s largest annual festivals for the arcade and amusement industry.
The event, organized by the Japan Amusement Industry Association (JAIA), is a major exhibition and fan festival that showcases the latest in arcade gaming and entertainment.
The expo is a one-day event where visitors can experience the newest and most advanced arcade games from a wide range of different genres.
The show floor will feature a massive collection of new crane games, video games, “print seal” photo booths, and medal games.
In addition to the main exhibition, various hands-on events and exclusive merchandise sales are also planned by the participating companies.
The event is designed to be a comprehensive showcase of the entire amusement industry, offering a unique opportunity to experience the latest trends in Japanese arcades.
A separately ticketed “AMUSEMENT MUSIC FES” will also be held in conjunction with the main expo for fans of arcade game music.
The “AMUSEMENT EXPO 2025” will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center in the East 4 and 5 halls.
The event will take place on Saturday, the 15th of November, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Three different tiers of entry tickets are available, each with a different admission time.
The ticket types and prices are as follows:
- Early Ticket: Allows entry from 9:00 AM – ¥3,000
- Standard Ticket: Allows entry from 10:00 AM – ¥2,000
- Late Ticket: Allows entry from 1:00 PM – ¥1,000
Admission to the event is free for all elementary school students and younger children.
Tickets for the event went on sale on Monday, the 1st of September, 2025, at 12:00 PM Japan Standard Time, and are available through vendors such as Lawson Ticket and Ticket Pia.
