Italian high-fashion brand’s handmade Pokémon bags set to cost over $600
High-end Italian fashion brand Anteprima is set to release its first-ever “POKÉMON COLLECTION”.
This collaboration merges the sophisticated craftsmanship of Anteprima with the global appeal of the Pokémon franchise, offering a unique range of luxury accessories for fans and fashion enthusiasts.
Anteprima, founded by Japanese designer Izumi Ogino in Milan in 1993, is celebrated for its timeless, sophisticated, and effortless designs.
The brand’s signature wire bags, first launched in 1998, are hand-knitted using exclusive wire materials, known for their shimmering appearance and lightweight nature.
These bags have become an iconic accessory, reflecting a blend of Italian elegance and meticulous Japanese detail.
This collaboration with Pokémon brings a playful touch to the brands established aesthetic.
Previous fashion collaborations have seen Pokémon work with mass-market brands like Crocs and UNIQLO.
The new “POKÉMON COLLECTION” features a variety of high-end items, with a focus on Anteprima’s iconic wire bags and bag charms.
The lineup prominently showcases some of the most popular Pokémon characters, including Pikachu, Eevee, Psyduck, Jigglypuff, and Ditto.
These characters are instantly recognizable to millions of fans worldwide, making them ideal choices for a high-profile fashion collaboration.

The “POKÉMON COLLECTION” will be available for purchase starting from August 1st, 2025.
Customers can acquire these special items through various channels, including the official ANTEPRIMA online store, ANTEPRIMA/WIREBAG shops located across Japan, and a dedicated pop-up store at The SHEL’TTER TOKYO, situated on the 1st floor of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando “Omokado” in Tokyo.
