Huge new Gundam SEED Destiny diorama is limited to just 268 pieces worldwide

A new, large-scale diorama statue has been revealed, capturing a fierce and iconic clash from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
The new product is the latest entry in the “BN FIGURE DX” lineup from Bandai Namco and the Chinese studio, Lightyear Studio.

“BN FIGURE DX” is a premium brand that specializes in creating large, highly detailed, and limited-edition statues for high-end collectors, with its Gundam line focused on recreating famous duels.

This new piece is a follow-up to the previous releases in the series, which included a diorama of the ν/Nu Gundam vs. Sazabi from Char’s Counterattack and MS-06F Zaku II vs. RX-78-2 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam.

The new “Freedom Gundam vs. Destroy Gundam” statue is a massive diorama that recreates the climactic battle between the two legendary mobile suits during the Battle of Berlin.

The statue stands as a major centerpiece for any collection, measuring approximately 41.4cm long, 52.8cm wide, and 58.5cm tall.

It is constructed from a combination of premium materials, including polystone, resin, and PU, to recreate every panel line, scorch mark, and explosion with a high degree of realism.

A key feature of the statue is its integrated LED lighting.

The base includes a light-up explosion effect, and the destroyed mobile suit parts scattered across the diorama are also enhanced with their own LED illumination, adding a dramatic flair to the battle scene.

Production of the statue is extremely limited, with only 268 units being made available worldwide.

The new product was also showcased at the Bandai Namco booth during the “2025 CHINA JOY” exhibition in Shanghai earlier in August.

The “BN FIGURE DX – Freedom Gundam vs. Destroy Gundam” is priced at ¥8,888 RMB (approximately ¥183,205 JPY / $1,237 USD / £916 GBP).
Pre-orders for the limited-edition statue opened earlier this month, and the statue is scheduled to begin shipping in the first quarter of 2026.
