hololive New Year’s Eve countdown concert to return for 2025
The VTuber agency Cover Corporation has announced that its annual, large-scale New Year’s Eve concert, the “hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE,” will be held again this year.
This popular event has become a yearly tradition for the globally popular VTuber group, hololive.
The concert is a massive, multi-hour music and variety special that brings together the talents from all of the different branches of the hololive Production agency.
As with previous years, the entire event will be streamed online for free.
The previous year’s concert, the “hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE 2024-2025,” was a huge spectacle.
That event featured a total of 60 different participating talents from the main Hololive Japan branch, as well as Hololive Indonesia, Hololive English, and the hololive DEV_IS group.
The setlist for the countdown live is typically a mix of popular original songs from the Hololive music library, as well as group performances of cover songs of other major hits from that year, such as “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” and “Mesmerizer” in the last show.
This mix of original and popular music, combined with the rare opportunity to see a huge number of the agency’s talents performing together in one show, makes the event a major highlight of the year for the entire VTuber fan community.

The “hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE 2025-2026” was announced on Friday, the 5th of September, and is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, the 31st of December, 2025.
