hololive announces huge slate of free events for the 2025 holiday season

Cover Corporation has officially unveiled its comprehensive schedule for the 2025-2026 holiday season, headlined by a massive free countdown concert and the return of the fan-favorite New Year’s Eve variety program.

The festivities will center around “hololive production COUNTDOWN LIVE 2025▷2026,” a fully free online concert set to stream on the official Hololive YouTube channel.

Scheduled to begin at 23:00 (JST) on December 31, 2025, this year’s countdown features a lineup of 60 talents from across the agency’s branches.

In a departure from previous years, the entire setlist will be composed exclusively of hololive original songs.

The participating lineup includes some of the agency’s most popular stars, such as Tokino Sora, Sakura Miko, Pekora Usada, Marine Houshou, and Korone Inugami.

The event also features major international talents like Mori Calliope and Kobo Kanaeru, as well as the complete lineups of newer groups like Advent (including Fuwawa and Mococo Abyssgard) and Flow Glow.

“Yuku Holo Kuru Holo” Variety Special

Surrounding the concert is the annual variety special, “Year-End Hololive ~Yuku Holo Kuru Holo 2025▷2026~.”

This lengthy program has become a staple of the VTuber community’s New Year celebrations.

The show will be split into two parts:

Part 1: December 31, 17:30 – 23:00
Part 2 (Extension): January 1, 0:30 – 03:00

The program features various themed segments starring mixed groups of talents:

DEV_IS New Year’s Outfit Relay

The “hololive DEV_IS” branch, which includes the units ReGLOSS and Flow Glow, will hold a special “New Year’s Outfit Reveal Relay” to ring in 2026.

Taking place on January 2, 2026, from 13:00 to 19:00, the relay will showcase traditional New Year’s attire for 9 members: Kanade Otonose, Ririka Ichijou, Raden Juufuutei, Hajime Todoroki, Riona Hibiki, Niko Koganei, Su Mizumiya, Chihaya Rindo, and Vivi Kikirara.

The announcement also detailed several offline and satellite events:

ReGLOSS Christmas Fan Meeting

Titled “Ring Ring! ReGLOSS Xmas!”, this event will be held at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas on December 24, 2025. It is a fan participation event supported by Coca-Cola.

Hololive 3rd Generation Live

A dedicated concert for the “Fantasy” generation (Pekora, Flare, Noel, Marine) titled “Kyururun Strategy” will take place at the K-Arena Yokohama on January 17 and 18, 2026.

Tokyo Station Pop-Up Shop

A special shop featuring “0th Gen,” “ID 1st Gen,” and “EN Myth” will open at Tokyo Station First Avenue from January 9 to January 22, 2026.

This announcement follows other recent hololive collaborations, such as the “UNDONE” watch collection featuring Hoshimachi Suisei and others, which opened for pre-orders earlier this month.
