hololive Announces 9th Anniversary Events as Official Fireworks Show Returns for 2026

Cover Corp has announced two major events celebrating the ninth anniversary of hololive production, bringing a city-wide collaboration to Japan’s Yokohama before staging a large music, fireworks and drone show inspired by its new “hololive Dreams” smartphone game.
hololive production has grown from its Japanese VTuber roots into a global entertainment brand, with talents operating across hololive, hololive English and hololive Indonesia alongside music releases, concerts, games and large-scale fan events.

The first part of the anniversary celebration is “holocal Yokohama,” the second installment in hololive’s regional support project and a collaboration stretching across several attractions in Yokohama and the Minato Mirai area.

Seven hololive talents will lead the event, with Marine Houshou, Lamy Yukihana, Polka Omaru, Koyori Hakui, Kobo Kanaeru, Hakos Baelz and Ririka Ichijou each appearing through specially created artwork and activities around the city.

Fans will be able to explore participating locations through a stamp rally, with exclusive character voice recordings available at selected stops alongside life-size panels featuring the newly drawn illustrations.

Collaboration drinks will also be served during the event, while a dedicated merchandise collection using the new character artwork will give visitors another reason to explore the different venues.

Yokohama World Porters will serve as the main location, with additional activities taking place at Minato Mirai Tokyu Square, the Yokohama Port Museum and Nippon Maru Memorial Park, GiGO Yokohama Chinatown and THE WHARF HOUSE at Yamashita Park.

The anniversary celebrations will then move beyond Yokohama with the return of “holo Fireworks,” the music fireworks event that made its debut at Makuhari Seaside Park last year.

This year’s show is titled “hololive production 9th Anniversary Fireworks – Blooming Dreams” and has been expanded into a large-scale performance combining hololive music with synchronized fireworks and drone displays.

The show will use hololive songs as the foundation for a coordinated mix of music, light and aerial effects designed specifically for the production’s ninth anniversary.
“holocal Yokohama” will run from September 18 through October 9, 2026, giving fans several weeks to complete the stamp rally, hear the exclusive voice content and visit the participating collaboration locations.
“hololive production 9th Anniversary Fireworks – Blooming Dreams” will follow on October 15, 2026 at Saitama Stadium 2002, bringing the anniversary campaign to a close with its combined fireworks, drone and music performance.
