Zebra has launched a new Mildliner collection featuring Hatsune Miku and the Piapro Characters, bringing their familiar designs to seven softly colored line markers created for notes, planners and illustrations.

The Piapro Characters are Crypton Future Media’s six virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO, whose voice software has inspired music, artwork and fan-created projects around the world.

Mildliner markers are known for using gentler colors than traditional fluorescent highlighters, allowing important text to stand out without making handwritten pages feel overly bright or difficult to reread.

The water-based pigment ink is designed to resist bleeding through paper, while the wider Mildliner range includes 40 colors that can be used for highlighting, journaling and drawing.

The collaboration introduces Mild Summer Green, Mild Blue Green, Mild Orange, Mild Lemon Yellow, Mild Pink, Mild Red and Mild Dark Blue markers, with each color selected to complement the Piapro Characters featured across the collection.

Mild Summer Green receives a newly commissioned Hatsune Miku illustration by wogura, giving her outfit, hair accessories and signature twin tails a playful makeover inspired by the Mildliner brand.

The Mild Blue Green, Mild Orange, Mild Lemon Yellow and Mild Pink designs use character artwork by KEI, the illustrator responsible for the original visual designs of several of Crypton’s best-known virtual singers.

Mild Red and Mild Dark Blue complete the seven-color lineup with illustrations by iXima, whose artwork has appeared across numerous official Hatsune Miku projects.

The varied colors make the markers suitable for organizing study notes, adding details to planners or bringing softer shading to sketches, while the character artwork gives each pen enough personality to work as a collectible stationery item.
