Hatsune Miku gets a huge new merch line based on Japan’s “Lucky Cat” festival

A new line of merchandise has been announced that combines the virtual singer Hatsune Miku and Japan’s annual “Lucky Cat Festival.”
The annual “Lucky Cat Festival” is a major event held in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, a town famous for its ceramics.
The festival is a celebration of the “maneki-neko,” the iconic Japanese “beckoning cat” figurine that is believed to bring good luck.

This new collection is based on a series of new, original illustrations by the artist Rassu, which reimagine Hatsune Miku and the other five “Piapro Characters” (Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO) with a “maneki-neko” and festival theme based on the real-life event.

The lineup features a wide range of exclusive, made-to-order merchandise.
