Hades II Arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series April 14

Supergiant Games has announced that the acclaimed roguelike dungeon crawler Hades II will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via the Microsoft Store on April 14, 2026.
The studio also confirmed that the title will be a day-one addition to the Game Pass subscription service for Xbox and PC users.
This upcoming release follows the game’s initial Early Access debut on Steam and the Epic Games Store, which took place on May 6, 2024.
A full version of the sequel was previously launched for the Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC on September 25, 2025.
As the first direct sequel in the history of the developer, the game expands upon the Greek mythos established in the original title by introducing the Princess of the Underworld.
Players will task themselves with taking down the Titan of Time while utilizing the power of Olympus and mastering various forms of witchcraft.
The journey features a cast of dozens of fully voiced characters, including returning fan favorites and new Olympian gods such as Apollo.
Gameplay remains focused on replayability with the Underworld featuring ever shifting locations, new upgrade systems like the Arcana Altar, and the ability to tame familiars.
The experience is designed to be accessible to all players through the inclusion of permanent upgrades and the return of the optional God Mode setting.
Visuals and audio maintain the signature style of the studio with hand painted environments and an original score to accompany the fast paced action.
