The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has had many different anime series since it first hit Japanese screens in 1979.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is the latest instalment, introducing a new cast of characters and mobile suits to the long-running series.

Crane game prizes, also known as “UFO catcher” prizes, are a popular form of merchandise distribution in Japan.

These figures are typically non-scale, pre-painted, and offer a cost-effective way for fans to acquire figures of their favorite characters without the higher price point of dedicated scale figures such as the recently announced MegaHouse “Lucrea light” statue of Machu.

BANDAI SPIRITS, a key player in the anime merchandise market, frequently produces these prizes to capitalize on the popularity of on-going series.

This new prize figure of Machu will stand at approximately 20cm tall, which is around the normal size for a crane game figure.

The figure focuses on capturing Machu’s appearance as she is depicted in her pilot suit and beanie.

Particular attention has been paid to the details of the suit and her facial expression.

The release of the “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) Figure Pilot Suit Ver.” as a crane game prize in July provides fans with an accessible and fun way to acquire merchandise of a character from the newest Gundam series.

For locations stocked by BANDAI’s official distributors, the release date should be around 1-2 months after the initial Japanese release providing the figure is licensed for distribution in your territory.

Another new figure of a popular character from the series will also be released this July, with a Banpresto prize figure of Nyaan in her school uniform due to become available at the same time as the new Machu figure.
