Prime 1 Studio reveals stunning new Rei Ayanami statue based on Evangelion: 3.0+1.0

Prime 1 Studio has officially unveiled a new 1/4 scale statue of Rei Ayanami from the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

The figure was revealed during the “NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVI: REALMS BEYOND TIME” broadcast, capturing one of the most striking visual changes in the Rebuild film series.

This specific design features Rei with long, flowing hair, a look that symbolizes the passage of time during the film series’ 14 year time skip.

The sculpt details include a distinct color gradient in her hair, transitioning from her signature blue to a translucent white at the tips.

Her expression is sculpted to appear gentle and calm, and this release is designed as a direct companion piece to a new Shikinami Asuka Langley statue, which was also revealed during the same event.

The Asuka statue features her white plugsuit and eyepatch from the film’s climax.
