Prime 1 Studio reveals stunning new Rei Ayanami statue based on Evangelion: 3.0+1.0
Prime 1 Studio has officially unveiled a new 1/4 scale statue of Rei Ayanami from the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.
The figure was revealed during the “NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVI: REALMS BEYOND TIME” broadcast, capturing one of the most striking visual changes in the Rebuild film series.
This specific design features Rei with long, flowing hair, a look that symbolizes the passage of time during the film series’ 14 year time skip.
The sculpt details include a distinct color gradient in her hair, transitioning from her signature blue to a translucent white at the tips.
Her expression is sculpted to appear gentle and calm, and this release is designed as a direct companion piece to a new Shikinami Asuka Langley statue, which was also revealed during the same event.
The Asuka statue features her white plugsuit and eyepatch from the film’s climax.
Rei is posed to complement her, allowing fans who purchase both to complete a unified display of the two pilots as they appear at the end of the Rebuild series.
The “NEXT LEVEL SHOWCASE XVI” was a significant event for collectors, featuring a wide array of high-end reveals across anime, games, and live-action series.

Pricing details for the Rei Ayanami statue have not yet been determined, however, it was confirmed that pre-orders are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.
