Gundam Build Fighters’ Sengoku Astray Gundam gets new Gundam Base exclusive metallic MG kit

Bandai Spirits has announced a new Gundam Base exclusive Gunpla, the “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Sengoku Astray Gundam [Metallic]”.

This new kit joins the popular Master Grade (MG) lineup, which is known for its high-quality, 1-to-100 scale models that feature detailed internal frames and complex engineering.

The Sengoku Astray Gundam is the custom mobile suit piloted by Nils Nielsen in the popular anime series Gundam Build Fighters.

The suit is a heavily modified Astray Red Frame, redesigned with the striking aesthetics and heavy armor of a samurai warrior (Musha).

This new Gundam Base exclusive version of the kit presents the mobile suit in a special, premium metallic color finish.

The kit faithfully reproduces the suit’s unique samurai armor in 1-to-100 scale detail. It also features the model’s signature gimmicks, such as the deployable shoulder armor and a shield.

The backpack’s “Kabuto” (helmet) face can also be detached and equipped as a separate shield.

The “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Sengoku Astray Gundam [Metallic]” is priced at 6,600 yen (approx. $42.87 USD / £34.35 GBP).

It is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2025, exclusively at Gundam Base locations.

The model kit will soon go on display at Gundam Base locations in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and New Chitose Airport.
