GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR announces next store location

BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has announced a new location for their GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR.

“THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR in NAGOYA,” will offer a range of products and experiences.

This pop-up shop is the second stop in Japan for “THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR,” which is touring various cities across the world, including locations in China, Europe and Australia.

The tour is part of the ongoing celebration of the 45th anniversary of Gunpla, the popular plastic model kits of Gundam mobile suits.

Following its previous stop in Osaka, this event marks another opportunity for fans to engage with the franchise.

Beyond Gunpla, the venue will stock a wide variety of Gundam-themed merchandise, including general goods and confectionery.

Exclusive items will be available, including products related to the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” for the Osaka-Kansai Expo.

The Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, which runs from April 13th to October 13th, 2025, features the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” which showcases a future where humans and mobile suits coexist in space.

Additionally, visitors can purchase “Gundam Base Pop-Up World Tour advance sale items”.

One such item is the “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Gundam Astray Red Frame [Recirculation Color/Neon Pink]” model kit, priced at 5,280 yen.

Another exclusive is the “MG 1/100 Gundam Base Limited Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka [Recirculation Color/Neon Pink],” available for 6,380 yen.

Also offered is the “RG 1/144 Gundam Base Limited RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.2.0 [Gundam Base Color]” for 4,180 yen.

Special products tied to the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 will also be on offer.

These include the “EXPO2025 1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipment)” priced at 3,960 yen.

This specific Gundam variant, the RX-78F00/E, is a re-envisioning of the iconic RX-78F00 from the Gundam Factory Yokohama, now with new equipment for the Expo.

The “EXPO2025 ENTRY GRADE 1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam” will be available for 1,320 yen.

Customers will also receive gifts with their purchases.

A special “EX Base (THE GUNDAM BASE Collaboration 2025)” promo card for use in the Gundam Card Game will be given as a purchase bonus to every customer.

Visitors spending 10,000 yen or more will receive a shopper bag featuring a “THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR” design.

The pop-up event will not only feature Gunpla kits and merchandise, it will also feature dedicated experience zones.

A hands-on assembly experience zone will be available for visitors to try out putting together Gunpla kits.

An exhibition area will be set up, which will allow attendees to view a range of completed Gunpla kits.

This includes standing figures from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, specifically of “GQuuuuuuX” itself and the “Red Gundam”.

“THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP WORLD TOUR in NAGOYA” will be open for a limited period from Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 25th.

It will be held at the PARCO HALL on the 9th floor of Nagoya PARCO South Building.

To manage crowd levels, entry to the venue may be restricted at times during the operational period.

In conjunction with the Gunpla 45th anniversary, a collaborative cafe is also scheduled to open at “kawara CAFE & KITCHEN” on the 5th floor of Nagoya PARCO South Building during the event’s run.
