GODIVA café’s new Narita Terminal 1 store to offer 2 exclusive menu items

The first-ever airport location of the “GODIVA café” is set to open, bringing the brand’s premium chocolate drinks and sweets to travelers visiting Japan.

The new “GODIVA café Narita Airport Terminal 1” will be a “stand-type,” takeout-only specialty shop, another first for the brand.

GODIVA café is a self-service style cafe from the legendary Belgian chocolatier, which operates under the concept of “making every day a little better.”

This new location, situated in the departure lobby before the security checkpoint, is designed to be easily accessible for travelers who may not have a lot of time.

While the cafe will focus on serving drinks, it will also feature a lineup of menu items that are exclusive to this airport store.

The location-exclusive menu is themed around matcha, a flavor that is highly popular with international tourists.

The new, exclusive menu includes:

  • Uji Matcha Latte Float
    • Price: 805 yen

A matcha latte made with stone-ground Uji matcha, topped with Godiva’s chocolate ice cream.

  • Soft Serve Dark Chocolate & Uji Matcha Ice
    • Price: 864 yen

A combination of Godiva’s chocolate soft serve and Uji matcha ice cream, accented with crispy white chocolate feuillantine – available as a cone or a cup.

Drinks including an Oat Milk Latte and an Americano will also be available, offering a selection of choices for travellers who prefer a non-chocolate option.

To celebrate the grand opening, a special giveaway campaign will be held. 

The first 222 customers who visit the new cafe and show the staff that they are following the official GODIVA café Instagram account will receive a free Godiva “Carré” chocolate.

The “GODIVA café Narita Airport Terminal 1” is located on the 4th floor of the Main Building in Terminal 1 of Narita International Airport, Chiba Prefecture.

It is scheduled to officially open on Wednesday, the 10th of September, 2025.
