Giant Psyduck Chair Joins Pokémon’s Official Furniture Range

A new collaboration between the hit video game franchise Pokémon and Japanese furniture manufacturer Cellutane is set to bring one of the most adorable Water-type companions into fans’ living rooms.
The brand new “Psyduck Bead Sofa” allows fans to relax in comfort while enjoying the company of the lovable yellow duck monster.

Cellutane has previously launched a number of other unique seating options based on popular Pokémon, including Gengar, Rowlet, and Sizzlipede, amongst others.

Pokémon, currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, is a massive franchise that has captured the hearts of millions around the globe through video games, trading cards, and animated series.

Psyduck is a classic creature originally introduced in the very first generation of video games back in 1996.

The character is famously known for its constant headaches, confused expression, and surprising bursts of psychic power.

Fans have long been charmed by its endearing personality and cute but vacant stare.

This fun furniture piece meticulously captures the unique characteristics of the famous duck, including its three sprigs of black hair and wide beak.

Even the back of the chair features a carefully designed tail to ensure it looks cute from any angle in a room.

The manufacturer focused heavily on providing an incredibly comfortable seating experience rather than just an appealing visual design.

The interior is filled with a special mixture of highly elastic urethane foam and tiny polystyrene beads.

This combination creates a supportive structure that perfectly conforms to the body and gives an enveloping, dough-like feel.

The chair is equipped with a sturdy backrest and armrests, allowing users to sink in and completely relax for extended periods.

Despite its large size, the entire sofa weighs approximately 10 kilograms, making it relatively easy to move around the house for cleaning or rearranging.

The outer cover is fully removable and machine washable, ensuring the bright yellow fabric stays looking fresh and clean.

The main body of the chair measures 92 centimeters wide, 90 centimeters deep, and 79 centimeters tall at its maximum points, and the interior padding is manufactured domestically in Japan.

The “Psyduck Bead Sofa” launched on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and is available for a price of 28,400 yen (approx. $190 USD / £150 GBP).

Fans can purchase the furniture directly through the official Cellutane online store.
