These exclusive timepieces will be offered with prices commencing at 2,860,000 Japanese yen (tax included, approx. $19,738 USD/£15,278 GBP).
FRANCK MULLER consistently endeavors to craft horological narratives that enrich the lives of their clientele through the meticulous creation of exceptional watches.
Similarly, “Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)” presents a timeless and compelling story situated within an intricately crafted fantastical world, thereby captivating a vast and diverse audience.
This unique occasion marks the inaugural collaboration between these two entities, transcending the conventional boundaries that often delineate the realms of high-end watchmaking and immersive video games, resulting in the realization of a truly exceptional partnership.
The collaborative endeavor will manifest in the release of four distinct models within a series aptly named “VANGUARD FINAL FANTASY XVI,” with each of these timepieces being a highly coveted model available only in strictly limited quantities.
Vanguard Tourbillon Final Fantasy XVI “Final Battle”

The Vanguard Tourbillon Final Fantasy XVI “Final Battle” stands as a particularly striking timepiece, boasting an undeniably impressive and enigmatic design that achieves a cohesive aesthetic through the unified use of pure white across its case, dial, and bracelet.
Kazuya Takahashi, the individual responsible for the character design of “FF16,” offered his insights on this specific model, stating:
“When I contemplate ‘Final Fantasy,’ the color pure white invariably serves as my initial point of reference.”
Consequently, for this special model, there was no other color that felt as inherently fitting as white.
Upon this foundation of white, I proceeded to layer and integrate the visual representations of the ‘Fire Summon Ifrit,’ the ‘Phoenix of Resurrection and Protection,’ and the ‘Symbol of Power, Bahamut.’
This design was directly inspired by the three characters who fight alongside each other in the climactic final battle, and specifically the memorable sight of Bahamut taking flight with them aboard.
The red wish star that makes an appearance within the story, likened to the moon’s satellite Meteor, is symbolically represented by the tourbillon mechanism, and I strategically positioned it adjacent to these figures as if in a state of watchful guardianship.”
The characters of Ifrit, Phoenix, and Bahamut are depicted as a unified trinity on the dial, and a sophisticated tourbillon mechanism is prominently installed at the 6 o’clock position.
The overall face design, which seamlessly blends artistic expression with advanced horological technology, is an absolute must-see for both devoted fans of the “Final Fantasy” franchise and those with a general appreciation for exceptional watchmaking.
Further enhanced by its extreme rarity as a unique, one-of-a-kind creation worldwide, this particular model can undoubtedly be considered the highlight of the entire “VANGUARD FINAL FANTASY XVI” series.
