First Official Yakuza Live Concert to Feature the Series’ Karaoke Hits

SEGA has announced a brand new live music event celebrating its highly popular action-adventure franchise, Like a Dragon.
The “Ryu ga Gotoku THE LIVE -IKIZAMA-” concert is set to be the first full-scale music event dedicated entirely to the long-running series.

Like a Dragon, known as Yakuza in Western territories, is a massive franchise that follows the dramatic lives of various underworld figures in Japan.

The games are famous for balancing intense, emotional crime dramas with incredibly humorous and wacky side activities.

One of the most popular side activities in the franchise is the rhythm-based karaoke minigame, which allows players to hear their favorite tough characters belt out passionate songs.

This newly announced concert will primarily focus on these fan-favorite karaoke tracks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

Series Chief Director Ryosuke Horii is serving as the general producer for the event.

According to a message from Horii, the franchise boasts a massive catalog of over 1,000 songs, including various remixes.
The team decided to focus on the karaoke tracks due to high demand from fans, recognizing them as a true symbol of the series’ audio identity.

The concert will feature a live band performance for the entire show, complete with appearances by special guests.
Attendees can also expect to hear several iconic battle background tracks and main theme songs alongside the vocal performances.

The event will feature live performances from the main voice cast of the series.
Takaya Kuroda will appear to represent the legendary Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu.

Hidenari Ugaki will take the stage as the unpredictable Mad Dog of Shimano, Goro Majima.

Kazuhiro Nakaya will also perform as the passionate and optimistic new series protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga.

The concert will take place at Kanadevia Hall in Japan on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Fans can choose from three different ticket tiers for the upcoming event:
- Kiwami S Seat Ticket
- Price: 19,800 yen (approx. $132 USD / £104 GBP)
A premium ticket that guarantees a seat in the front rows and includes an original design T-shirt (design TBC).
- S Seat Ticket
- Price: 13,800 yen (approx. $92 USD / £72 GBP)
A standard premium seating option.
- A Seat Ticket
- Price: 9,800 yen (approx. $65 USD / £51 GBP)
A standard seating option for the concert.

Sales for the tickets are currently being handled through a primary advance lottery system through Ticket Pia.
Applications for the lottery will be accepted until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

The final results are scheduled to be announced to participants after 6:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026.
Exclusive event merchandise is also planned to be sold during the concert.
