First ever JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure official store to open in Tokyo in summer 2025

Bandai Namco has announced that they will be opening the very first official permanent retail store dedicated to the popular “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” series.

The highly anticipated store is slated to open its doors in Tokyo’s popular Shibuya district during the summer of the year 2025.

“THE★JOJO WORLD”, as the store will be officially named, will be situated on the 6th floor of the prominent Shibuya PARCO complex.

This will see the store opening on the same floor as the Shibuya Pokémon Center as well as Nintendo and Capcom’s Tokyo stores.

SEGA is also expected to open a store on the same floor of the Shibuya PARCO in summer 2025.

While the specific date of its grand opening during summer of 2025 remains to be announced, the reveal has already generated considerable excitement among fans of the series.

The retail space promises to be an immersive environment, curated to allow visitors to fully experience the captivating world of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.”

The store’s design will incorporate iconic elements from the series, such as representations of the powerful “Stand Arrows” and visual traces of the various unique “Stands” that appear from Part 3: Stardust Crusaders onwards.

In addition to a wide array of merchandise featuring original illustrations derived from the anime adaptations, the store will also offer exclusive products showcasing charming “chibi character” illustrations created by the talented illustrator Yu-pon, providing a diverse selection of collectibles for enthusiasts.

Visitors will be invited to explore the corridor-like interior of the store, browsing the extensive product line-up in search of their most coveted items from the beloved series.

Beyond the retail offerings, “THE★JOJO WORLD” will also feature engaging interactive content designed to enhance the visitor experience.

This will include the “Stand Ability Research Institute”, an attraction spanning the entirety of the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” saga, which will allow fans to discover their own potential Stand ability.

Additionally, the store will host mini-games inspired by memorable scenes from the series, such as “I’m Back! Memetaaa! Ripple Roulette — Ripple Energy is the Power of Sendo!” based on Zeppeli’s introduction of Ripple energy, and “Aim for a Home Run! Oh, That’s a Baseball!!” referencing Jotaro’s memorable encounter with Terence T. D’Arby.

Promotional artwork for the store suggests it will cater to fans of the entire JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure saga

There will also be content centered around Iggy, the loyal canine Stand user from Stardust Crusaders, which will include “IGGY CAFE,” where patrons can enjoy a selection of food and beverages thematically inspired by the series, and the “Iggy Shrine — Coffee Gum Fortune Telling” experience which offers a unique opportunity to receive a fortune from Iggy.

“THE★JOJO WORLD” aims to be more than just a store and has been envisioned as a destination that invites “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” fans from across the globe to embark on their own “bizarre adventure” through a variety of engaging experiences.

Let’s take a look at the range of attractions and mini-games that fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure will be able to experience at the new “THE★JOJO WORLD” store when it opens this summer!

Attraction: “Stand Ability Research Institute”

This interactive attraction will allow visitors to measure their inherent physical abilities through the completion of six distinct actions.

Based on their performance in these activities, participants will receive a diagnosis identifying the “Stand” from the approximately 120 “Stands” featured in the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” anime series that most closely aligns with their measured aptitudes.

Following the completion of the test, participants will be provided with a digital image of their personalized Stand diagnosis via a scannable 2D code.

Mini-game 1: “I’m back! Memetaaa! Ripple Roulette ~ Ripple energy is the power of ‘Sendo’!!”

This mini-game draws its inspiration from the iconic sound effect “Memetaaa” uttered when Zeppeli demonstrated the power of Ripple energy to Jonathan by striking a frog on a rock.

Participants will engage by attempting to “punch” the frog on the virtual rock when prompted by a signal from Zeppeli.

The resulting condition of the rock and the frog will determine the participant’s rank in the game, and based on this rank, they will receive one of the following prizes:

  • A Prize: Acrylic board featuring exclusive artwork.
  • B Prize: Holographic badge with a unique design.
  • C Prize: Die-cut sticker showcasing a memorable character or Stand.

Mini-game 2: “Aim for a home run! Oh, That’s a Baseball!!”

This mini-game is inspired by the memorable television baseball game “Oh! That’s baseball!!” that Jotaro Kujo played during his intense confrontation with Terence T. D’Arby.

Participants will press a controller button at a designated signal after a virtual ball is thrown, and the timing and accuracy of their press will determine their grade based on the condition of the ball.

Depending on the achieved grade, participants will receive one of the following prizes, all featuring the iconic character Jotaro Kujo:

  • A Prize: A choice between a stylish hat keychain or a convenient drawstring bag featuring Jotaro.
  • B Prize: An acrylic keychain with a unique Jotaro design.
  • C Prize: A square can badge showcasing Jotaro.

“IGGY CAFE”

Within “THE★JOJO WORLD,” visitors will find “IGGY CAFE”, a themed eatery where they can indulge in a variety of food and beverage items inspired by the diverse characters and overarching narrative of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.”

One notable offering will be “Mochimochimochi (Sex Pistols),” available in two distinct versions representing different groupings of Guido Mista’s six Stand members: No.1・2・3 ver. and No.5・6・7 ver.

“Iggy Shrine ~Coffee Gum Fortune~”

At the unique “Iggy Shrine” visitors can have their fortune told by Iggy himself at a sand shrine created using the power of his Stand, The Fool. Following this intriguing experience, participants will receive a fortune slip presented in the style of a piece of coffee gum packaging, adding a playful touch to the traditional fortune-telling concept.

In addition to the interactive attractions and themed cafe, “THE★JOJO WORLD” will offer a wide selection of exclusive original merchandise.

This will include motif key chains featuring 12 distinct designs, name holders available in 3 different styles, collectible Kewpie dolls representing 6 different characters, embroidered stickers showcasing 4 unique designs, an Iggy-themed cookie tin, a plush Iggy shoulder perching stuffed toy, a series of “THE★JOJO WORLD” branded acrylic stands, and replica Stone Masks.
