Fan events and exclusive merch revealed for Hyperdimension Neptunia 15th anniversary celebrations

Video game developer Compile Heart has officially kicked off the 15th-anniversary celebration for its popular and long-running Hyperdimension Neptunia series.

The first game in the franchise, Hyperdimension Neptunia, was originally released on the 19th of August, 2010.

The series is a meta-comedy role-playing game that parodies the video game industry, with its main characters being goddesses who are personifications of various game consoles.

To celebrate the milestone, a variety of different anniversary projects are currently underway.

A new, 15th-anniversary commemorative illustration has been released, which was newly drawn by the series’ original character designer, Tsunako.

A special 15th-anniversary website has also been launched.

This new site features a history of the franchise and a large collection of congratulatory comments from the series’ main voice cast, including Rie Tanaka, the voice of Neptune, as well as from various musical artists who have worked on the games.

A new fan contest, “Nep’s Art Contest 2025,” has also been announced.

The contest is open to a wide range of creative works, including illustrations, novels, cosplay, photos, and videos, with various prizes available for the winners.

A “15th Anniversary Party in AmiAmi” pop-up shop is also currently being held.

The event, which is taking place at the AmiAmi Akihabara Figure Tower store, features the sale of exclusive anniversary merchandise and a variety of special exhibits.

Finally, a large-scale digital game sale is running on both the Nintendo eShop and the PlayStation Store.

The “Neptunia 15th Anniversary Sale” offers discounts of up to 75% off on various titles from the series, and is scheduled to run until the 27th of August, 2025.
