FamilyMart is hosting its first-ever “All-You-Can-Eat Famichiki” event
Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart has announced that it will be holding its first-ever, in-store, all-you-can-eat event for its most famous and beloved hot food product, “Famichiki.”
The “Famichiki Ageage Festival ~The Dreamy Famichiki All-You-Can-Eat~” is part of a larger, nationwide “Famichiki Ageage Festival” campaign.
“Famichiki” is the brand name for FamilyMart’s boneless fried chicken, a hugely popular and iconic convenience store food.
This special event will allow a limited number of fans to enjoy an “all-you-can-eat” experience for a period of 30 minutes.
The challenge includes both the classic Famichiki and the spicy “Famichiki Red,” as well as two “Famichiki Buns” for making sandwiches, and a bottle of water.
The all-you-can-eat event is a ticketed, reservation-only affair.
It will be held at ten specific FamilyMart locations across Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
The ten participating stores are located in:
- Hokkaido: Subway Shindo-higashi Station Front
- Miyagi: Sendai Clis Road
- Tokyo: NTT Kanto Medical Center Front
- Kanagawa: Ichizawa-cho
- Aichi: Nadia Park Front and Gokiso Station Front
- Hyogo: Former Foreign Settlement East
- Osaka: Taisho Station North
- Fukuoka: Fukudai Engineering Faculty Front and Fukuoka Doi 4-chome
In addition to this special in-store event, two other, nationwide promotions are also being held as part of the “Famichiki Ageage Festival.”
A “Coupon Giveaway” will see customers who purchase a Famichiki receive a special coupon on their receipt.
A separate “Goods Giveaway” will be held through the “Famipay” app, where customers can collect digital stamps to enter a lottery for exclusive, Famichiki-themed merchandise, such as a pair of shin guards and socks, which are being promoted by the J-League soccer player, Junichi Tanaka Paulo.
The all-you-can-eat event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 27th of September, and Sunday, the 28th of September, 2025.
Tickets for the event are priced at ¥1,000 and will go on sale on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday, the 19th of September, at 6:00 PM Japan Standard Time via the official FamilyMart website.
