Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Set for August 28 Release

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have officially announced that Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28, 2026.
This new edition serves as a comprehensive package, containing the original base game alongside the expansive Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
In addition to the existing content, players will gain access to exclusive customization options for Torrent, as well as new weapons and armor sets.

To ensure parity across all systems, the publisher confirmed that the Tarnished Pack DLC will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on the same August 28 date.
While the title has already seen immense success on other platforms, this upcoming release marks the first time the acclaimed action RPG will be playable on Nintendo’s next generation hardware.

Existing owners of the game on other platforms will be able to purchase the new equipment and cosmetic features separately to enhance their current characters.
The announcement highlights a continued partnership between the developer and publisher to expand the reach of the award winning title to a broader audience.
