MegaHouse has opened pre-orders for a new diorama display base from its “Realistic Model Series.”

The new “Realistic Model Series Mobile Suit Z Gundam 1/144 HG Argama Catapult Deck (40th Anniversary Edition)” commemorates the 40th anniversary of the classic 1985 anime series, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.

The “Realistic Model Series” is a line of large-scale, pre-painted diorama kits designed to serve as a detailed hangar or launch bay for 1/144 scale High Grade Gunpla models.

This new edition recreates the iconic, open-air catapult deck of the A.E.U.G.’s flagship space cruiser, the Argama.

A key feature of the diorama is its modular construction, which allows it to be reconfigured into four different display lengths, from a compact 40-centimeter “Fortress Mode” to a massive, nearly 1-meter “Long Catapult Mode.”

The diorama includes a movable mobile suit launch pad that can slide out from the hangar gate.

The set also includes wall-mounting attachments and comes as a pre-painted, semi-assembled kit with optional water-slide decals for extra detail.
