Destroy All Humans!, Disney Epic Mickey, and SpongeBob Games Coming to Nintendo Platforms
THQ Nordic has officially announced a significant expansion of its software lineup for Nintendo platforms with four major titles scheduled for release throughout 2026.
The publisher will bring the 2020 remake of Destroy All Humans!, the sequel Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, and the reimagined Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Additionally, the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is slated for a release on the original Nintendo Switch hardware.
The first title to arrive will be the original Destroy All Humans! remake on June 23, 2026, which introduces the alien protagonist Crypto to the Switch 2 with enhanced 1440p resolution and the inclusion of the Skin Pack downloadable content.
Following this, Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed will launch on September 15, 2026, featuring the Reprobed: Skin Pack and the Challenge Accepted expansion for players to explore a much larger open world set in the 1960s.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is set for an October 6, 2026 release on the Switch 2, offering improved framerates and specialized mouse style controls designed for the Joy Con 2 controller alongside the Costume Pack DLC.
The final release in this wave of announcements is SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, which will debut on the standard Nintendo Switch on October 13, 2026.
This new SpongeBob adventure features a conflict between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune and allows players to swap between SpongeBob and Patrick to utilize their unique abilities.
By bringing these titles to Nintendo’s latest hardware, THQ Nordic aims to leverage the increased power of the Switch 2 for richer visuals and more stable performance in these established franchises.
