Reissue Confirmed for 4 Gundam SEED Deactive Mode Gunpla Kits

Bandai Spirits has announced the start of orders for a wave of re-releases that brings back several Real Grade Gunpla kits from the Gundam SEED series.
The four returning kits are each based on the “Deactive Mode” appearance that featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny series.

Many high-performance mobile suits within the two series are equipped with special Phase Shift armor that renders them virtually immune to physical attacks while active.

This unique defensive technology requires a constant supply of energy to maintain its vibrant, protective coloration in the heat of battle.

Whenever a mobile suit runs out of power or shuts down, the armor shifts into a muted, gray-toned state known as Deactive Mode.

Fans now have the opportunity to build color-accurate representations of these drained mobile suits, complete with their striking monochromatic gray color schemes.

Builders can complete their displays with these returning favorites, ensuring that the legendary battles of the series can be recreated in stunning detail.

To supplement these exciting returning releases, Bandai Spirits is also offering a brand new kit to expand the lineup.

The new “RG 1/144 Force Impulse Gundam Deactive Mode” recreates the mobile suit known for its unique Silhouette System, which allows it to adapt to various combat situations by swapping out specialized equipment backpacks.
