Demon Slayer and MLB team up to release second collab apparel line
A new collaboration has been announced between Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Major League Baseball.
The partnership, managed by the sports merchandise company Fanatics, features a line of original apparel that fuses the designs of the anime with some of the most prominent Japanese players in the MLB.
The release of the collection is timed to celebrate the recent premiere of the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1 as well as the announcement of a Demon Slayer themed Dodgers game night that will take place in August.
This project brings together one of Japan’s biggest cultural exports with its most popular sport, baseball, and its star players who are now active in North America.
The new product line consists of “Name & Number” T-shirts, some of which featured in a previous collab collection released between Demon Slayer and MLB earlier this year.
These shirts take the standard format of a player’s jersey and creatively redesign the name and number on the back using the patterns from the iconic “haori” coats worn by the anime’s characters.
The previous collection only included one character design, however, this time around, four different Demon Slayer characters are featured.
The patterns are based on the haori of Tanjiro Kamado, the kimono of Nezuko Kamado, the haori of Zenitsu Agatsuma, and the haori of Giyu Tomioka.
These four designs are available for six different Japanese MLB players.
The players featured are Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Yu Darvish of the San Diego Padres, Shota Imanaga and Seiya Suzuki of the Chicago Cubs, and Kodai Senga of the New York Mets.

Each T-shirt is available in a range of adult and kids’ sizes, with adult shirts priced at 7,000 yen (approx. $47 USD/£35 GBP) and kids’ shirts at 5,000 yen ($34 USD/£25 GBP).
The pre-order period is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 25th of July, 2025, and orders can be placed via the official MLB Shop in Japan.
