December 2025’s new Gunpla includes a popular Gundam Wing spin-off and two new GQuuuuuuX kits
Bandai Spirits has revealed its upcoming Gunpla lineup for December 2025, featuring new releases from the latest anime series as well as premium kits from fan-favorite side stories.
The lineup is headlined by two new High Grade (HG) kits from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, alongside two Premium Bandai exclusive releases.
From Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the “White Gundam” and “Char’s Zaku (GQ)” will make their debut in general hobby stores.
In addition to the standard retail releases, two major Premium Bandai exclusives have been announced for December.
The first is the “HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe” from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing DUAL STORY G-UNIT.
The second exclusive is the “HG 1/144 Gundam 7th” from Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081.
Here is the full lineup and product details:
- HG 1/144 White Gundam
This kit represents the Earth Federation Forces’ new mobile suit from the series, faithfully reproducing the distinctive coloring of the head and torso.
The design of the side of the head differs from that of the “Red Gundam,” and it comes equipped with a newly sculpted Hyper Bazooka and a shield that can be mounted to either the arm or the backpack using included joint parts.
- HG 1/144 Char’s Zaku (GQ)
Capturing the mobile suit painted in Char’s personal red color, this kit includes a newly sculpted Zaku Bazooka as its primary weapon.
The shoulder blocks are designed to move independently to allow for dynamic action poses, while the mono-eye is movable to change the Zaku’s gaze, and marking stickers are included to recreate the image from the anime.
- HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe (Premium Bandai)
This is a completely new mold based on a redesign by the original mechanical designer, Junichi Akutsu, which faithfully reproduces the mobile suit’s three transformation modes (MS Mode, Assault Mode, and MA Mode) using a new transformation method.
It features a “Reflect Shield” on the back that can fold forward, “Grapple Claws” on the legs in Assault Mode, and includes weapons like a Beam Lancer with clear yellow effects, a Shield Spike, and a Hyper Mega Particle Launcher.
The kit can also combine with other HG G-UNIT kits (sold separately) to form the “G-UNIT Final Combine Ver. DUAL STORY.”
- HG 1/144 Gundam 7th (Premium Bandai)
Representing the final “Second Lot” unit piloted by Phantom Sweep Team leader Hugues Courand, this completely new mold features intricate details such as large backpack verniers.
It boasts a forearm rotation gimmick for natural posing and a unique leg articulation mechanism where the armor moves in conjunction with the knee bend to reveal the internal structure, alongside a specialized Beam Rifle with grips on the bottom and side.
The “HG 1/144 White Gundam” and “HG 1/144 Char’s Zaku (GQ)” are both priced at 2,420 yen (approx. $15.72 USD / £12.33 GBP) and are scheduled for release on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
The “HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe” is priced at 4,510 yen (approx. $29.29 USD / £22.98 GBP), and the “HG 1/144 Gundam 7th” is priced at 2,200 yen (approx. $14.29 USD / £11.21 GBP).
Both Premium Bandai exclusives are scheduled to ship in December 2025.
