Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands Set for June 2026 Release on Consoles

Five House and Deathbulge announced that the party based RPG Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on June 30, 2026.
The musical adventure originally debuted for PC platforms including Steam, GOG, and itchio on August 8, 2023.

Players control Faye, Ian, and Briff, three friends who enter a cursed musical competition where songs serve as lethal weapons in combat to the death.
The gameplay features nine classes such as the Busker and Headbanger, each offering unique attacks and outfits for the band members.
The combat system blends real-time elements with turn-based mechanics, focusing on measure effects that occur between player turns.

Exploration allows players to kick down every door they find while avoiding monsters visible on the field using three different field abilities.
The game provides roughly 15 to 20 hours of content, including a late game dating segment and a system for sewing patches onto battle jackets for perks.
Consumable items are replaced by a merch system where players use a refillable global resource called stock to activate permanent items.

Solo artist Dan Martin noted that positive reception from PC players prompted the move to consoles after the game remained a cult hit for years.
The experience is rounded out by an original soundtrack and unique NPC dialogue that evolves as the story progresses toward its conclusion.
