Crocs have officially confirmed the global release date for their new footwear collection based around the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, anime and manga series.

Four designs will be released, split between the familiar Classic Clog and the chunkier Echo Clog, with custom colors, molded details and Jibbitz charms used to distinguish each character-inspired pair.

The collaboration was first shown ahead of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 at the KAIBA CORPORATION STORE in Ariake, Tokyo, where Konami also revealed several other unusual pieces of merchandise currently in development.

Yugi’s Classic Clog takes inspiration from the colors associated with his outfit, combining a dark blue base with brighter contrasting details and a prominent Millennium Puzzle element across the upper.

The Yugi design also uses character-specific Jibbitz charms to work more Yu-Gi-Oh! imagery into the ventilation holes, making it much more elaborate than simply adding the series logo to a standard pair of Crocs.

Seto Kaiba receives the other Classic Clog, with a largely white and gray appearance accompanied by darker accents that reference the distinctive coat worn by the KaibaCorp president throughout the original anime.

The sole has also been given a sharper profile inspired by the exaggerated shape of Kaiba’s coat, helping the design stand apart from Yugi’s more conventional Classic Clog.

Dark Magician moves the collection onto the Echo Clog, using the monster’s familiar purple coloring together with an additional fabric section around the upper that takes cues from his armor and robes.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon receives the fourth pair, also based on the Echo Clog and finished predominantly in pale blue and white to match Kaiba’s signature monster.

Each of the four pairs comes with themed Jibbitz charms, adding recognizable characters and symbols from the series across the footwear.

A range of additional Jibbitz charms will also be sold, with charms based on Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Joey Wheeler (Jonouchi Katsuya) and Yugi Muto sold individually.

A Jibbitz Charm “Monsters 5 Pack” will also be available containing five popular monsters from the series including Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, Kuriboh, Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

The collaboration also has a particularly unusual surprise for Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG collectors, with Konami creating an original promotional monster appropriately named “Crocodile”.

Listed as CRC1-EN001, Crocodile is a Level 3 LIGHT Reptile Normal Monster with 1300 ATK and 1300 DEF, while its artwork depicts a smiling green crocodile wearing a pair of white Crocs.

Even the card’s flavor text is built around the footwear brand, describing the creature as having 13 stripes across its belly and 13 holes on its feet before referencing the idea of freely expressing yourself.

The repeated number 13 appears to be another deliberate Crocs reference, as the familiar Classic Clog uses 13 ventilation holes across each shoe.

As a Normal Monster, Crocodile has no card effect, making its appeal much more about the unusual crossover artwork and its status as a dedicated collaboration card than competitive play.

The new card will be available in Japan from Crocs’ own stores (Shibuya Parco, Shinjuku Marui, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Nagoya Parco, Shinsaibashi Parco, and Canal City OPA), the Crocs online store, the Crocs Japan TikTok official shop and also from Crocs partner stores including ABC-MART stores, atmos stores, and others.

Customers will receive one Crocodile card for every footwear item from the Yu-Gi-Oh! collection that they purchase.

Yu-Gi-Oh! has already experimented with major footwear collaborations in recent years, including Adidas releases and the 2025 Nike Air Max 95 project, making Crocs the latest brand to reinterpret the franchise through shoes.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Crocs collaboration will initially launch in Japan on September 9, with it becoming available in the United States and several other countries from September 10.

Japanese prices for both designs of Classic Clog will be 11,550 yen, while the Echo Clogs will be priced at 14,850 yen.

Individual Jibbitz charms will be priced at 660 yen, and the Monsters 5 Pack will be priced at 2,420 yen.

Crocs USA has confirmed that the Yugi Classic Clog and the Seto Kaiba Classic Clog will both be priced at $69.99, whilst the Dark Magician Echo Clog and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon Echo Clog will be priced at $89.99.

International pricing for the Jibbitz charms has yet to be confirmed, but is expected to be broadly in line with usual pricing at around $4.99 per individual charm and $19.99 for the Monsters 5 Pack.

No official confirmation has been provided by Crocs regarding international availability of the exclusive promo card at the time of writing, however as it’s likely that the card comes pre-packed with the footwear it should also be available to fans outside Japan with every Clog purchase.
