CODE GEASS: Rozé of the Recapture’s Zi-Artemis Joins Bandai’s High Grade Model Kit Line

Bandai Spirits Hobby Division has revealed a new addition to its High Grade model kit lineup, based on one of the most unique machines from CODE GEASS: Rozé of the Recapture.
The new release recreates the UZZ-001m “Zi-Artemis,” the powerful Knightmare Frame operated by protagonist Rozé, also known as Sakuya Kō, throughout the series.

CODE GEASS: Rozé of the Recapture expands the long-running CODE GEASS franchise with a new cast of characters and advanced combat machines while continuing the blend of mecha warfare, strategy, and political conflict that made the series popular with anime fans worldwide.

Within the story, Zi-Artemis stands apart from conventional Knightmare Frames thanks to its unique design philosophy, prioritizing aerial mobility over traditional ground-based combat.

Rather than relying on legs for movement, the lower section of the machine is equipped with large thruster systems that allow it to operate primarily in flight.

The unit is also capable of transforming into a high-speed Fortress Mode reminiscent of a futuristic combat aircraft.

Another key feature of Zi-Artemis is its Yggdrasil Drive, a system that enables the machine to function freely beyond the limitations imposed by the Fox’s Wall energy barrier.

When paired with the separately deployed Zi-Apollo unit, Zi-Artemis can combine to create the even more formidable Zi-Ortiga configuration, dramatically increasing its speed and battlefield capabilities.

The machine’s effectiveness is further enhanced when Ash and Sakuya operate it together, allowing piloting and weapons control duties to be split between two operators during combat.

The new “HG 1/35 Zi-Artemis” model kit has been created using an entirely new mold and aims to faithfully reproduce the machine’s complex mechanical appearance.

Multiple molded colors are used throughout the kit to accurately depict the internal frame, exposed piping details, the elegant gold-colored central body, and the machine’s signature blue-and-white armor sections.
To recreate one of the machine’s most striking visual elements, the kit includes a printed PET sheet that can be mounted on the rear section to simulate its Energy Wings.

Builders can also convert the model into Fortress Mode by replacing specific frame components with dedicated transformation parts included in the set.
The “HG 1/35 Zi-Artemis” has been engineered to work alongside the separately sold “HG 1/35 Zi-Apollo,” allowing fans to recreate the combined Zi-Ortiga form from the anime.

Even in its larger combined configuration, the completed model maintains a considerable range of articulation for action-oriented display poses.
Collectors can also recreate the high-speed Megistus ZETA mode, which showcases the Yggdrasil Drive operating at maximum output.

Additional accessories include both pre-transformation and post-transformation versions of the Freyja Eliminator weapon system.
Two large cannons are also included and can be equipped to further expand the model’s display possibilities.
The “HG 1/35 Zi-Artemis” is priced at ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD/£49 GBP), and pre-orders are now open via Premium Bandai, with shipping scheduled for July 2026.
