Chrono Trigger 30th Anniversary Concert announced for 2026

A special orchestra concert has been announced by Square Enix to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary role-playing game, Chrono Trigger.
The event is titled “CHRONO TRIGGER Orchestra Concert: The Melody that Crosses Time.”

Chrono Trigger, which was first released in 1995, is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time.
It is beloved by fans for its epic, time-traveling story and its iconic and unforgettable musical score.

This new concert will bring that celebrated music to life with a full orchestral performance.
Accompanying the music will be a screen displaying famous scenes from the game.

Conducting the performance will be the internationally acclaimed Nicholas Buc.
Music for the event will be provided by the prestigious Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert will be a multi-day event, with three separate performances held over two days.
The “CHRONO TRIGGER Orchestra Concert” will be held at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A and a pre-sale lottery for tickets opened on the 1st of September, 2025.

Performances are scheduled for Saturday, the 17th of January, and Sunday, the 18th of January, 2026.
Ticket prices are set at ¥11,000 (approx. $75 USD/£55 GBP) for an S-tier seat and ¥8,800 (approx. $60 USD/£44 GBP) for an A-tier seat.

The pre-sale lottery for tickets is now open via the official Square Enix e-STORE, and tickets purchased through this official channel will be special “picture tickets” with a unique design.
The application period for the ticket pre-sale lottery will run until the 17th of September, 2025.
