Charisma Anime Debuts New Visual and Staff Ahead Of January 2027 Premiere

The multimedia project Charisma has officially confirmed that its highly anticipated anime adaptation will premiere in January 2027.

A new teaser trailer and visual have been released to accompany the announcement, showcasing the seven main characters as they crowd through a doorway.

The project is being directed by Joji Furuta at Pierrot Films, the studio known for its recent work on Bad Girl.

Shu Matsubura, who previously worked on Mr Osomatsu, is responsible for the series composition and screenplay.

Character designs for the production are being handled by Ebimo, while EVIL LINE RECORDS is set to produce the music.

The original work is credited to both Shu Matsubura and Dazed CO, LTD, the creators behind the popular HYPNOSISMIC franchise.

The story follows seven young men living together in a share house, with each individual representing a specific type of charisma.

An announcement made on November 29, 2025, also confirmed that the original voice actors from the media mix project will reprise their roles for the animated series.
