Chainsaw Man movie continues its explosive run at the box office as new MAXIMUM THE HORMONE trailer revealed

Despite it being nearly a month after its premiere, the domestic box office numbers for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc continue to grow.
New figures have been released, revealing that in its first 24 days in theaters, the movie has achieved a total attendance of over 3.55 million people and has surpassed ¥5.4 billion (approx. $36.5 million USD / £29 million GBP) in box office revenue.

The film has also begun its international rollout and is scheduled to be released in over 100 countries and regions.
To celebrate this success, a new, post-release promotional video has been unveiled.

The new PV was first shown at the “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Special Panel” at the recent New York Comic Con.
The action-packed video is set to the insert song “Hawatari 2-oku Centi” by the band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, and it features the first animated look at Reze’s transformation into the Bomb Devil.

The intense footage also showcases a number of other highlight scenes from the film, including Chainsaw Man riding on the back of the Shark Fiend, Beam, and a number of impressive shots of Aki Hayakawa and the Angel Devil.

In addition to the new trailer, the third in-theater giveaway item for the film has also been announced.
Starting from this Saturday, the 18th of October, movie-goers in Japan will receive a special “visual card.”
This new, exclusive item features a brand-new, original illustration that was drawn by the manga’s creator, Tatsuki Fujimoto.

The artwork depicts a “what-if” daily life scene of the characters Aki Hayakawa and the Angel Devil, who are shown in school uniforms, enjoying a moment of peace while eating ice cream together.

This is a must-have, collector’s item for fans that can only be obtained by seeing the movie in theaters.
