Capcom Set to Open New Official Store in Yokohama

Capcom has announced that its newest official retail location, CAPCOM STORE MINATOMIRAI, will open this July in Yokohama.

The new store will become the latest addition to Capcom’s growing chain of official merchandise shops, offering products based on some of the company’s most iconic game franchises alongside store-exclusive items that cannot be purchased elsewhere.

Located inside MARK IS Minato Mirai in Yokohama, the new location will serve as the first place where fans can purchase a newly illustrated collaboration collection created by a popular illustrator before it becomes available through other Capcom Store locations and online.

For this special collaboration, Yuji Nishimura, the creator known for his popular LINE stickers, illustrations, manga, and animated works, has produced original artwork featuring 12 beloved Capcom characters in his distinctive relaxed and charming art style.

The lineup includes fan-favorite characters such as Monster Hunter’s Otomo Airou, Mega Man, Resident Evil’s Leon S. Kennedy, and Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney, alongside additional Capcom characters from across the publisher’s gaming history.

The exclusive illustrations transform the recognizable heroes into adorable, laid-back designs that offer a fresh take on some of Capcom’s most recognizable faces.

Capcom Store locations specialize in official merchandise from many of the company’s biggest franchises, including Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Ace Attorney and Street Fighter, while regularly introducing exclusive items available only through the retailer.

Following its early debut at the new Yokohama location, the Yuji Nishimura collaboration collection will become available at Capcom’s six existing CAPCOM STORE locations before also launching through the company’s online store.

The new CAPCOM STORE MINATOMIRAI will open on the fourth floor of MARK IS Minato Mirai in Yokohama on July 17, 2026.

The Yuji Nishimura collaboration merchandise will receive its advance release at CAPCOM STORE MINATOMIRAI on July 17, 2026, before expanding to all six existing CAPCOM STORE locations and the official online store from July 24, 2026, with online sales beginning at 12:00 p.m. local time.
