BoxLunch Releases New and Exclusive Final Fantasy Collab Collection
Image by James RichardsonBoxLunch has launched a new Final Fantasy VII apparel collection, with five exclusive designs drawing from characters and imagery across the original game and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The new range consists entirely of T-shirts, with Sephiroth receiving two separate designs alongside releases dedicated to Cait Sith and his Moogle companion, Chocobos and Final Fantasy VII Remake’s wider visual identity.
Final Fantasy VII originally introduced Cloud Strife and his allies in 1997, before Square Enix began reimagining the story through Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2020 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in 2024.
The BoxLunch collection mixes references to different versions of that world rather than focusing exclusively on one installment, giving several characters outside of Cloud some additional attention.
The “FINAL FANTASY VII Cait Sith & Moogle T-Shirt,” priced at $29.90, places Cait Sith and his oversized Moogle companion together across the front of the shirt.
Cait Sith has long been one of Final Fantasy VII’s more unusual party members, combining the small cat-like character with the considerably larger Moogle he rides into battle.
Sephiroth receives the largest share of the collection with two different shirts, beginning with the “FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Sephiroth Frame Portrait T-Shirt,” priced at $29.90.
That design presents Sephiroth within a framed portrait accompanied by his name, keeping the focus firmly on Final Fantasy VII’s most recognizable antagonist.
A second option, the “FINAL FANTASY VII Sephiroth Portrait T-Shirt,” is also priced at $29.90 and uses another character-focused design featuring Sephiroth alongside his name.
The two shirts give fans a choice between different treatments of the same character without simply repeating the exact same artwork across alternate colors.
The “FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Key Visual T-Shirt,” priced at $29.90, moves away from an individual character portrait and instead uses a scene from Final Fantasy VII Remake as its central graphic.
Rounding out the collection is the “FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Chocobo Crest T-Shirt,” also priced at $29.90, which places a Chocobo crest at the center of its design.
Chocobos have been a recurring part of Final Fantasy for decades, appearing throughout the series as recognizable mascots as well as mounts, racing animals and companions depending on the game.
All five shirts are made from cotton, are listed in unisex sizing and are exclusive to BoxLunch.
The collection follows another recent Final Fantasy VII apparel launch from Hot Topic, which takes a broader approach with nine releases covering Cloud, Sephiroth, Moogles, Chocobos and summons including Shiva, Bahamut, Ifrit and Leviathan.
