Blood Message: Hold Till Dawn Reveals New Story Trailer

Publisher NetEase Games and developer 24 Entertainment Lin’an have officially released a three minute story trailer for their upcoming title, Blood Message, on June 5, 2026.
The game is described as a cinematic, single player, linear story driven action adventure experience that serves as NetEase Games’ first AAA single player project.
Developed using the Unreal Engine 5, the title incorporates proprietary tools to blend visceral survival combat with storytelling rooted in Eastern history.
Set in 848 AD during the late Tang Dynasty, the narrative follows a nameless messenger and his son on a perilous 1,000 mile journey to the capital city of Chang’an.
Players will navigate diverse landscapes inspired by East and Central Asian geography, including the historical region of Dunhuang, while facing relentless enemy sieges.
The newly released “Hold Till Dawn” trailer showcases these environments alongside updated combat mechanics that emphasize stealth and survival.
NetEase Games confirmed that the title will be playable for members of the press for the first time during the Summer Game Fest 2026 Play Days event held this weekend.
The game aims to explore deep emotional themes such as family, honor, and cultural identity against the backdrop of a significant era in Chinese history.
