BLEACH: TYBW’s Epic Final Battles Inspire New Collab Cafe Menu and Exclusive Merch
Image by James RichardsonThe full menu has officially been revealed for a new BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War collaboration café opening in Tokyo this September, with dishes inspired by characters, abilities and major moments from the anime’s final cour, The Calamity.
“BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity – THE COLLABORATION CAFE” will open at THE GUEST CAFE BY PARCO on September 18, combining themed food, desserts and drinks with exclusive merchandise and order bonuses.
BLEACH follows Ichigo Kurosaki after an encounter with Rukia Kuchiki gives him the powers of a Soul Reaper, drawing him into conflicts involving Soul Society, Hollows and eventually the Quincy empire led by Yhwach.
The Thousand-Year Blood War anime began adapting the manga’s final arc in 2022, while its fourth and final cour, The Calamity, began airing in July 2026 and continues the climactic battle against Yhwach and the Wandenreich.
That final conflict provides much of the inspiration for the collaboration, although the café also draws from abilities, characters and memorable moments spanning other parts of the series.
The food lineup opens with an “Ichigo Kurosaki Beef Stroganoff” based around the four different sources of power within him, representing his Soul Reaper, Hollow, Quincy and Fullbringer abilities through a black stroganoff served with turmeric rice and fried potatoes.
“Toshiro Hitsugaya’s Cold Mizore Pasta” takes inspiration from the freezing abilities of his Zanpakuto, combining chilled pasta with chicken ham, fried eggplant and transparent soy sauce ice, with a separate Japanese-style broth poured over the dish to scatter an ice-flower stencil.
“Kenpachi Zaraki’s Lava Pasta” reflects the captain’s overwhelming strength through black sesame soy milk pasta baked with cheese and topped with fried burdock root, accompanied by Zanpakuto-printed bread, pink cream cheese and a turnip and cauliflower salad.
The “Gatonden Plate” recreates the enormous meal prepared by Squad Zero member Kirio Hikifune and eaten by Ichigo, Renji Abarai and Kon during their time at the Royal Palace.
Designed as a large meal for two, the dish takes inspiration from Hikifune’s cooking and its connection to the essence of artificial souls, although the oversized character display included with its presentation cannot be taken home.
The dessert menu begins with a “Yhwach Pancake” inspired by the main visual for The Calamity, using bamboo charcoal to turn its whipped cream black while custard and mixed berries are layered inside.
Stenciled versions of Ichigo’s different Zanpakuto surround the pancake, connecting the dessert directly to the final confrontation between Ichigo and Yhwach.
Uryu Ishida and Jugram Haschwalth’s battle inspires a rare cheesecake plate divided between the two characters, with blue tuile representing Uryu on the right and green seedless grapes representing Haschwalth on the left.
“Rukia Kuchiki’s Ice Dessert” recreates the freezing imagery of her Bankai, Hakka no Togame, using dry ice and sugar work to evoke the extreme cold associated with the ability.
The dessert combines maple-covered crushed cookies with white chocolate-coated cream cheese ice cream, vanilla ice cream, blueberries and other fruit.
“Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s Parfait” is one of the stranger additions to the menu, layering grape sauce, panna cotta, sponge and vanilla ice cream with grape jelly shaped to resemble a brain.
Grape ice cream, additional jelly and pastry sit above the glass, while raspberry sauce served inside a syringe can be added as you eat to alter the flavor.
The drink menu includes a “Kisuke Urahara Matcha Smoothie” topped with vanilla ice cream, with separate matcha milk and kinako allowing you to adjust the flavor to your preference.
“Yoruichi Shihoin’s Orange Float” is based on her Shunko: Raijin Senkei form, using sugar decorations to recreate its lightning alongside orange juice, grapes, grape ice cream and popping candy that crackles in your mouth.
The “Bambies Yogurt Drink” takes inspiration from Bambietta Basterbine and the five Quincy associated with the group, using five differently colored yogurt drinks topped with whipped cream and colorful syrup-filled popping balls.
Ordering the Bambies drink also includes one randomly selected novelty card from a set of five.
One of the more playful references is the “It’s All Thanks to Tsukishima” Drink, which starts as lemonade before yellow berry syrup is added from a dropper to change its flavor.
The changing drink is based on Shukuro Tsukishima’s Fullbring, Book of the End, which allows him to insert himself into the past of anything cut by his sword.
Every food, dessert or drink ordered at the café also includes one randomly selected original coaster from a collection of seven designs, with takeaway drinks included in the promotion.
A dedicated merchandise shop will operate alongside the café, selling original collaboration items and other officially licensed BLEACH products.
The lineup includes acrylic stands with backgrounds, BIG acrylic stands, die-cut stickers and randomly packed metal badges, alongside clothing and accessories including a T-shirt, large tote bag, Mayuri silicone pouch and a Gotei 13 tenugui towel.
You will not need to enter the café to shop for the merchandise, although temporary entry restrictions may be introduced during busy periods, and items from the collection are also planned for online sale through ONLINE PARCO.
“BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity – THE COLLABORATION CAFE” will run at THE GUEST CAFE BY PARCO on the sixth floor of Shibuya PARCO from September 18 through November 3, 2026.
The café will be open from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, with final food orders at 8:00 PM and final drink orders at 8:30 PM.
