Bandai Announces US Re-Release for Crossbone Gundam’s Exclusive MG Ver.Ka Gunpla Kit
Image by Charlotte DavisOne of the more unique Crossbone Gundam Master Grade releases is back at Premium Bandai US, with pre-orders now open for the exclusive MG 1/100 Crossbone Gundam X0 Ver.Ka.
The Crossbone Gundam X0 immediately stands apart from its better-known relatives through its silver-colored exterior, with the Ver.Ka kit using newly designed parts for details including the blade antenna and chest ducts.
Its distinctive appearance is paired with an equally varied weapon selection, including the Butterfly Buster, Peacock, Scissor Anchor, Heat Dagger, Beam Saber, Brand Marker, and ABC Cloak.
The Butterfly Buster can switch between gun and saber configurations, while the large Peacock multi-purpose weapon can change between its Smasher and Buster forms, giving the completed model several very different display options.
Newly designed Ver.Ka water-transfer decals are also included, providing additional markings created specifically for this version of the Crossbone Gundam X0.
This latest round of pre-orders arrives during Premium Bandai US’s Gundam Summer Fest 2026, which has brought back a number of older and sought-after Premium Bandai exclusive releases alongside a large selection of Gundam Base Limited kits.
The temporary Gundam Base lineup includes releases such as the “MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Wing Gundam Zero EW Ver.Ka [Titanium Finish]” and “MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Zaku Warrior (Live Concert Ver.),” making the event a particularly good opportunity for collectors who do not normally have direct access to Gundam Base stores to add some of the exclusive kits to their collection.
Image by Charlotte DavisPre-orders opened on August 14, 2026, and are scheduled to remain available until December 16, 2026 at 2:59 AM EST, although Premium Bandai may close orders earlier if the available allocation is reached.

for $61, with this latest wave set to be shipped in January 2027.
