Bandai Adds Gundam Base’s Exclusive Gundam 00 MG Gunpla Kit to Gundam Summer Fest 2026

The MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Gundam Exia [Clear Color] is back in stock at Premium Bandai US, temporarily bringing one of the more recent Gundam Base exclusive Master Grade kits back online for US builders.
Its return is part of Premium Bandai US’s Gundam Summer Fest 2026, which has temporarily made a large selection of Gundam Base limited kits available through the online store rather than requiring builders to purchase them through physical retail stores.

Based on Setsuna F. Seiei’s Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, this limited version takes the familiar MG Exia and replaces much of its traditional white, blue, red, and yellow armor with transparent parts that expose more of the mechanical construction underneath.
The clear treatment works particularly well with Exia thanks to the amount of internal detail visible across the Master Grade build, while the semi-transparent material already used for the GN particle cables complements the altered exterior finish.

Despite the different appearance, this remains a fully equipped MG Gundam Exia and includes the complete Seven Sword loadout associated with the mobile suit.
That arsenal consists of the large GN Sword, GN Long Blade, GN Short Blade, two GN Beam Sabers, and two GN Beam Daggers, giving builders plenty of options for changing the completed model between heavily armed and more focused close-combat displays.

The signature GN Sword can switch between its large physical blade and Rifle Mode, while the Long and Short Blades can be mounted around the waist and the Beam Sabers and Daggers can be stored on the model when not in use.
A GN Shield is also included and features a sliding mechanism that allows its two main sections to spread outward, creating a larger defensive surface for display.

The Master Grade construction provides substantial articulation across the body, with internal mechanical sections moving alongside the elbows and knees and enough range to make good use of Exia’s extensive selection of melee weapons.
Another key feature is the removable GN Drive in the center of the model, which can be taken out and displayed separately using the included stand.

The GN Drive is also compatible with separately sold Gunpla LED units, allowing builders to add illumination that becomes particularly effective when viewed alongside the transparent armor and semi-clear GN particle cable sections.
A 1/100-scale figure of Setsuna F. Seiei and a small Karell maintenance robot are included alongside Gundam decals, marking stickers, and color stickers for adding further detail to the finished model.

Gundam Summer Fest is scheduled to end on August 23 at 11:59 PM PDT, so with the Exia currently being offered as an in-stock event item, builders interested in securing one online should pick it up as soon as possible, as it’s likely it won’t be available once the event ends.
