Good Smile Company has opened pre-orders for a new line of collectible plush toys based on the critically acclaimed PlayStation 5 game, ASTRO BOT.

The new merchandise is the first volume in a planned “ASTROBOT Blind Pack Plushie” line.

ASTRO BOT, developed by Sony’s Team Asobi, is a platforming adventure that functions as a celebration of the entire history of the PlayStation brand.

A core feature of the game is the discovery and collection of over 150 “VIP Bots,” which are small, robotic cameos of iconic characters from various first-party and third-party games that have defined the PlayStation experience.

The game was recently updated to include “VIP Bots” of Final Fantasy characters, including Cloud, for the first time.

This new plush collection brings some of those popular character cameos into the physical world as palm-sized, posable toys.

Each plush features movable arms and legs, allowing them to be displayed in different poses.

The first series features five different VIP Bots, which will be sold in a “blind box” format, meaning the specific character received in a single purchase is randomized.

The lineup for the first wave includes the game’s hero, ASTRO.

He is joined by four other bots wearing the costumes of some of PlayStation’s most famous protagonists.

The “Jin Sakai Bot” is dressed as the samurai hero from the Sucker Punch Productions title, Ghost of Tsushima.

The “Ellie Bot” wears the familiar outfit of the protagonist from Naughty Dog’s celebrated series, The Last of Us.

The “Kratos Bot” takes on the appearance of the God of War himself, from the Santa Monica Studio franchise.

Finally, the “Journey Bot” replicates the look of the silent, robed traveler from the game Journey by thatgamecompany.

A single, randomized blind box is priced at ¥2,200.

A full box containing all five different plushies is also available for purchase for ¥11,000.

Pre-orders at the official Good Smile Company shop will remain open until the 27th of August.

The first volume of “ASTROBOT Blind Pack Plushie” are scheduled to be shipped in January of 2026.
