9 R.I.P. Sequel Gets International Release in 2026

Idea Factory International has confirmed that the otome visual novel sequel 9 R.I.P. will receive a Western release on the Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Following its initial launch in Japan on September 25, 2025, the title will be available to international audiences in both physical and digital formats.
Dedicated collectors can also look forward to a limited edition version of the game.
The story continues the journey of protagonist Misa Isshiki during her second year of high school as she navigates the complex romantic consequences of her previous actions.
Players will explore nine full character routes featuring a diverse cast of men, demons, and spirits returning from the original entry.
The sequel introduces Heavenly Routes that serve as direct continuations of the previous Heavenly Endings, requiring players to make careful choices to overcome new obstacles.
For those seeking a lighter experience, the Godly Routes provide sweet epilogues to the original Godly Endings.
The title once again features the striking visual work of character designer Yuuya to bring the supernatural world to life.
