What to expect
“HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” is a next-generation immersive experience that combines video, haptics, and sound to make you feel as if you have traveled back in time to the Edo floating world in which Katsushika Hokusai lived.
Katsushika Hokusai was an ukiyo-e artist active during the Edo period. Widely recognized as a world-renowned artist, his fascinating life and diverse works are said to have influenced many Western art scenes, including Van Gogh and Monet.
“HOKUSAI: ANOTHER STORY in TOKYO” is themed around Katsushika Hokusai’s masterpiece “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji,” allowing you to experience the Edo scenes depicted by Hokusai through “light, wind, earth, and sound.”
