Zeta Gundam’s Hyaku Shiki gets a new jumbo sized soft vinyl figure

A new, large-scale soft vinyl figure has been announced, featuring the iconic mobile suit Hyaku Shiki from the classic anime series, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
The Hyaku Shiki is the famous, golden-colored mobile suit piloted by the enigmatic Quattro Bajeena in the Zeta Gundam anime.

This new figure turns the fan favorite mobile suit into a large, approximately 24-centimeter tall “sofubi,” a classic style of Japanese toy, known for a nostalgic and heavy feel.

The “Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure SD Hyaku Shiki (Limited Edition Gold Version)” features a gorgeous, golden paint application to replicate the mobile suit’s signature, anti-beam-coating armor.

While primarily a display piece, the figure does feature a limited number of articulation points, including in its neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, and the binders on its back.

The set also includes its signature armaments, a beam rifle and a beam saber.
As a special, Premium Bandai exclusive bonus, the set also comes with a “character plate.”

The “Jumbo Soft Vinyl Figure SD Hyaku Shiki (Limited Edition Gold Version)” is priced at ¥21,780 (approx. $ USD/£ GBP).
Pre-orders for the figure opened on the Premium Bandai website on Thursday, the 4th of September, and will run until the 25th of September, 2025.
The figure is scheduled to be shipped to customers in January 2026.
