Zack, Aerith and Sephiroth Star in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s New Official Mini Figure Collection
Image by James RichardsonSquare Enix has opened pre-orders for the second Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Adorable Arts Petit collection, adding six new mini figures based on Zack, Aerith, Vincent, Cid, Reno and Sephiroth.
“FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Adorable Arts Petit Vol.2” continues the smaller spin-off of Square Enix’s established Adorable Arts figure range, recreating popular characters with compact bodies, oversized heads and simplified proportions.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second part of Square Enix’s ongoing remake trilogy, following Cloud Strife and his companions as they leave Midgar behind and travel across the wider world in pursuit of Sephiroth.
The expanded journey introduces several major characters who either weren’t part of Cloud’s group during Final Fantasy VII Remake or take on substantially larger roles in Rebirth, making the second Adorable Arts Petit collection a natural opportunity to broaden the figure lineup.
Square Enix launched the first Adorable Arts Petit collection earlier this year with Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Yuffie, Red XIII and Rufus Shinra, covering much of the game’s central party alongside the current president of Shinra.
Vol.2 fills several of the most obvious gaps left by that first selection, bringing Aerith together with Zack while also adding later party member Cid, the mysterious Vincent Valentine, Turk operative Reno and the game’s central antagonist Sephiroth.
Together, the two volumes create a 12-character collection spanning much of the main Rebirth cast, while keeping each figure small enough to display together without requiring the space of Square Enix’s larger PLAY ARTS or full-size Adorable Arts releases.
Let’s take a closer look at the six characters included in Vol.2!
- Zack Fair
The former SOLDIER 1st Class stands approximately 7.6cm tall and joins the collection after taking on a much larger role within the altered events surrounding Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
- Aerith Gainsborough
Aerith measures approximately 7cm tall, bringing one of Cloud’s closest companions and one of the most important characters in the wider Final Fantasy VII story into the Petit lineup.
- Vincent Valentine
The former Turk stands approximately 8cm tall, making him one of the tallest figures in the collection and adding another character encountered during the party’s journey beyond Midgar.
- Cid Highwind
Cid measures approximately 7.3cm tall and brings Rebirth’s outspoken pilot into the Adorable Arts Petit range.
- Reno
The red-haired Turk stands approximately 7.7cm tall, expanding the Shinra side of the collection beyond Rufus from Vol.1.
- Sephiroth
The legendary former SOLDIER measures approximately 8cm tall and gives the second wave its most prominent antagonist.
Each figure comes with a circular display base measuring 5cm across, keeping the presentation consistent across all six characters.
The figures are being sold as blind-box items, meaning individual purchases contain one randomly selected character.
Most retailers are also offering six-piece boxes, although they specifically warn that purchasing a full box doesn’t guarantee that all six characters will be included, so duplicate figures remain possible.
This is, however, more likely to be a warning intended to cover potential packaging errors, as full boxes of blind-box products would normally contain one of each figure.
The new Adorable Arts collection arrives at the same time that Square Enix has officially opened pre-orders for a much larger PLAY ARTS SHIN Zack Fair figure based on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Image by Charlotte DavisThat figure stands around 30cm tall and includes Zack’s Buster Sword, movable eyes, interchangeable expressions and dedicated arm parts for recreating his familiar crossed-arm pose.
Final Fantasy X’s Yuna has also received a new 1/6.5-scale figure developed by Square Enix and Good Smile Company, following earlier releases in the same series based on Noctis, Lightning and Fran.
Sephiroth is receiving another significantly larger interpretation as well, with his Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PLAY ARTS SHIN figure including the Masamune, interchangeable hair and face parts and his removable single black wing.
Image by Charlotte DavisIndividual “FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Adorable Arts Petit Vol.2” blind boxes are priced at ¥1,980 (approximately $13 USD / £10 GBP), while a six-piece box is priced at ¥11,880 (approximately $76 USD / £57 GBP).
Pre-orders are now open through the official Square Enix e-STORE and reputable hobby goods retailers including HobbyLink Japan, with the collection scheduled for release in January 2027.
