Video Game Legend Hideo Kojima Is Getting His Very Own Nendoroid Figure

Good Smile Company has appeared to confirm that a new figure of legendary video game director Hideo Kojima is officially in production.
The announcement took place during the Nendoroid FUNS (Good Smile Fest 2026) broadcast on June 4, 2026.

Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid brand is widely known for transforming famous characters, and in this rare case, real-life creators, into adorable, pocket-sized collectibles.
These figures are popular with collectors thanks to their wide range of movement and diverse swap-out accessories, giving fans total control over how they are displayed.

Hideo Kojima is an influential video game director, writer, and producer.
He is widely recognized for his pioneering work in the stealth action genre and for blending complex, cinematic storytelling with innovative gameplay.

After a long and storied tenure creating the iconic Metal Gear Solid franchise, he founded the independent studio Kojima Productions and released the hit Death Stranding.
The new figure reveal only showed a silhouette, however given the placement of the announcement in the broadcast, which was directly after the reveal of new Nendoroids of Kojima Productions mascot LUDENS, it seems all but certain that the mystery silhouette is that of Kojima himself.

As this is an initial reveal from the recent broadcast, physical details and accessory inclusions have not yet been showcased.
While pricing and pre-order windows remain unannounced at this time, fans can expect more information and prototype reveals from Good Smile Company in the future.

Hideo Kojima was just one of many exciting announcements made during the Good Smile Fest 2026 stream.
