UNIQLO reveals new Tamagotchi T-shirt collection for December release

UNIQLO has announced a new “UT” (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection featuring the iconic digital pet toy, Tamagotchi.
Tamagotchi, first released by Bandai in 1996, became a massive cultural phenomenon. Nearly 30 years later, the brand continues to attract new generations of fans while still holding a strong nostalgic appeal for those who grew up with it.

This new UT collection is inspired by the pixel art of the original, first-generation Tamagotchi toy.

The T-shirt designs feature the simple yet expressive 8-bit graphics of the classic characters, such as “Mametchi” and “Kuchipatchi.”
Let’s take a look at each of the designs that will be available!
- UNIQLO x Tamagotchi UT Collection – Kuchipatchi Care and Attention T-Shirt

- UNIQLO x Tamagotchi UT Collection – Group T-Shirt

- UNIQLO x Tamagotchi UT Collection – Hungry Mametchi T-Shirt

In addition to the T-shirt lineup, the collaboration will also include the sale of an Original Tamagotchi, branded in UNIQLO’s red and white color scheme, which will be sold alongside the apparel.

This new collection offers a charming and retro-themed tribute to one of the most beloved toys of the 1990s.

The new Tamagotchi UT Collection is scheduled to be released in mid-December 2025.

Each of the T-shirts in the collection will be priced at ¥1,990 (approx. $13.50 USD / £10.80 GBP).
The UNIQLO exclusive Original Tamagotchi will be priced at ¥2,990 (approx. $20 USD / £16 GBP).

The collection will be available in select stores across Japan, as well as online via the official UNIQLO website.
